"John Hope Electric took care of all things electrical for two giant projects, the remodel of New Leaf Half Moon Bay and the building of the New Leaf on the Westside in Santa Cruz. Turns out the only thing more complicated to build than a grocery store is a hospital - but John Hope and his crew are both detail and service oriented and they patiently negotiated working with our GC and the other trades to get our zillions of different appliances and refrigeration units hooked up to the juice. Not only did they wire the gut's of the store, they also worked smoothly with our interior designers to collaborate with local lighting artist, Roy Johnson, to install custom designed fixtures and to create sensational atmospheric lighting throughout the retail floor. They also cheerfully did the installation on some experimental illuminated kite box fixtures made from reused sailcloth that are art in and of themselves! Because the electricians are the first to arrive and the last to leave, you really want to work with helpful, friendly, knowledgeable people who get the job done. John Hope and his crew take pride in and responsibility for their work. They are patient and thorough, and also have pretty darned good senses of humor. Ask for Hope, receive Power and Illumination!"
